UAE Weather Forecast: Partly Cloudy Skies, Chance of Light Rain

Residents across the UAE can expect a mild shift in weather conditions over the coming days, with partly cloudy to cloudy skies forecast in some coastal and northern areas, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM). There is also a chance of light rainfall, particularly along the coast and in northern regions, though widespread rain is not expected.

Daytime temperatures are set to rise slightly, bringing more comfortable winter conditions. In Abu Dhabi, highs are forecast to reach around 25°C, while Dubai and Sharjah can expect temperatures of approximately 24°C. Inland areas may feel marginally warmer during the afternoon, while higher elevations could remain cooler.

Despite the daytime warmth, nights will continue to feel cooler, especially in coastal locations where humidity levels are expected to increase. The NCM has warned that higher humidity during late night and early morning hours could lead to the formation of mist or fog in some areas, potentially affecting visibility for motorists. Drivers are advised to exercise caution, particularly on highways and open roads during early commutes.

Wind conditions are forecast to remain light to moderate, helping keep dust and sand activity minimal. This should support relatively stable visibility conditions during the day. The calmer winds are also contributing to mostly calm sea conditions, making it safer for marine activities compared to periods of rougher winter weather seen earlier this season.

For beachgoers and those planning outdoor activities, the outlook remains generally favourable, with mild temperatures and limited weather disruption. However, authorities recommend staying updated with official forecasts, especially for those planning coastal or marine trips.

The current conditions are typical of the UAE’s winter season, which often brings fluctuating cloud cover, occasional light rain, and cooler evenings. Meteorologists note that such patterns offer brief relief from warmer temperatures while maintaining generally pleasant daytime weather.

Residents are encouraged to monitor updates from the NCM and follow safety advice, particularly during periods of reduced visibility or changing coastal conditions.
