Key Features of the New Consular Services
Dedicated 24/7 Hotline: Golden Visa holders can now access a dedicated hotline via the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) Call Center to respond to inquiries and provide urgent assistance while abroad. The hotline operates around the clock, ensuring continuous support.
Emergency Return Documents: In the event of a lost or damaged passport while abroad, Golden Visa holders can obtain an electronic Return Document, enabling them to return to the UAE promptly. This service is facilitated through the authority’s website.
Repatriation and Burial Assistance: In the unfortunate event of a Golden Visa holder’s death abroad, the UAE will assist in the repatriation of mortal remains and burial arrangements in the UAE. This service streamlines the required consular and procedural steps in coordination with the relevant authorities, ensuring the swift completion of transactions and providing support to the families of the deceased.
