Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced new visa amendments that will take effect next week. The validity window for entering on an Umrah visa is being shortened from three months to just one month, though pilgrims’ permitted stay in the kingdom remains three months. If the visa is not used within 30 days of issuance, it will be automatically cancelled. This change aims to better manage rising pilgrimage volumes and maintain orderly entry processes.
