Abu Dhabi is set to light up with colour, culture and celebrations as the emirate prepares for the 54th UAE National Day, offering residents and visitors a long weekend filled with fireworks, festivals, heritage shows and family-friendly activities.

From dazzling displays on Yas Island to cultural performances in Al Ain and desert adventures in Al Dhafra, authorities have rolled out one of the most diverse National Day programmes in recent years – ensuring something for every age and interest.

Citywide Fireworks and Night-Time Celebrations

Several locations will feature large-scale fireworks shows across the three-day weekend. Yas Island, one of the capital’s major entertainment hubs, will host nightly displays, drawing crowds with its signature synchronized lights and music.

Other landmark locations – including the Corniche, Al Hudayriyat Island and Sheikh Zayed Festival grounds – are also preparing for packed evening gatherings, offering food stalls, live shows and extended opening hours.

Cultural Performances and Heritage Experiences
