Indian Expat Nasar Husain Pushes Limits With 23km Dawn Run Before Dubai Run 2025

Dubai: Indian expat and endurance runner Nasar Husain has once again raised the bar for fitness enthusiasts in the UAE. Ahead of the highly anticipated Dubai Run 2025, Husain completed a remarkable 23km run at dawn, starting from Al Qusais and reaching DIFC- before joining the main event itself.

As part of a bold goal within the Dubai Fitness Challenge, Husain is undertaking a remarkable feat: running 30 half marathons in 30 days. Demonstrating steadfast commitment and consistent runs, he has surpassed 500 kilometers, garnering widespread praise and respect throughout Dubai’s running community.”

Husain shared that his pre-event 23km warm-up was not about breaking records but about testing physical and mental boundaries. “Every day is a chance to go further than yesterday. DFC is the perfect motivation to push yourself,” he said.

The Dubai Run- now regarded as the world’s largest free community run- attracts hundreds of thousands each year. Yet Husain’s dedication stood out as he arrived at the event already having completed the equivalent of more than half a marathon.

Supporters describe him as a symbol of perseverance and discipline, inspiring many to take on their own fitness goals during the 30-day citywide initiative.

With several days still left in the challenge, Husain shows no sign of slowing down. If he continues at this pace, he will surpass well over 600km by the end of DFC, reaffirming his status as one of Dubai’s most committed amateur endurance runners.
