DXB to Launch Salik E-Wallet Parking Across All Terminals

Dubai International Airport (DXB) is set to roll out a seamless, cashless parking experience after Dubai Airports and road toll operator Salik signed a long-term agreement to integrate Salik’s e-wallet payment system across all airport car parks.

The 10-year agreement, witnessed by Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Airports, and Mattar Al Tayer, Chairman of Salik, will see Salik’s E-Wallet solution introduced across all paid parking facilities at DXB starting January 22, 2026. Once implemented, the system will cover around 7,400 designated parking spaces across Terminals 1, 2, 3, as well as the Cargo Mega Terminal.

The move is part of Dubai’s wider push toward smarter mobility and frictionless travel experiences. For passengers, visitors, and airport staff, the integration means parking payments can be completed automatically through Salik’s digital wallet, eliminating the need for cash, tickets, or manual payment machines.

Under the agreement, Salik will integrate its E-Wallet system with the existing car park management infrastructure operated by Dubai Airports’ appointed parking concessionaire. Vehicles entering and exiting parking facilities will be identified through technology linked to the Salik system, allowing parking fees to be deducted directly from a user’s e-wallet account.

Officials say the initiative will significantly improve traffic flow within airport parking areas, reduce congestion at exit barriers, and enhance overall convenience – particularly during peak travel periods. DXB remains one of the world’s busiest international airports, and even small improvements in ground operations can have a meaningful impact on passenger experience.

The partnership also marks an expansion of Salik’s role beyond road tolling. While Salik is best known for managing Dubai’s electronic toll gates, the company has been steadily broadening its portfolio to include smart mobility and payment solutions that align with Dubai’s digital transformation goals.

For regular airport users, the change is expected to simplify short-term and long-term parking, especially for frequent travellers and greeters. Authorities have indicated that further details, including registration processes and user guidelines, will be shared closer to the rollout date.

As Dubai continues to invest in smart infrastructure, the DXB-Salik partnership highlights how integrated digital systems are reshaping everyday services – making travel faster, smoother, and increasingly cashless for millions of users each year.
