On Sunday, 2 November 2025, the sixth edition of Dubai Ride 2025 transformed Sheik Zayed Road into a spectacular car-free cycling avenue, drawing thousands of participants of all ages. The event, part of the Dubai Fitness Challenge 2025, offered two route options: a 12 km course along Sheik Zayed Road from the Dubai World Trade Center to Safa Park for more experienced riders, and a flat, family-friendly 4 km loop in Downtown Dubai around the Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall, and Dubai Opera. Cyclists started as early as 5:00 am for the “Speed Laps” segment on the 12 km route, while the main ride flagged off at 6:15 am. With free registration, free bike rentals through Careem Bike, and dedicated start gates, the event emphasized inclusivity, safety, and community spirit.
