Abu Dhabi, 28 October 2025 – In a major move that underscores the UAE’s ambition to become a global AI-infrastructure hub, Cisco Systems and Abu Dhabi-based G42 have announced a significant expansion of their strategic collaboration. The aim: to build secure, high-performance AI infrastructure in the UAE as part of the broader US-UAE AI Acceleration Partnership.

What the Deal Entails

  • Cisco will serve as the technology integrator within G42’s “Regulated Technology Environment” (RTE) — a compliance-driven framework created to ensure advanced compute systems operate under strict governance, transparency and security controls.
  • The infrastructure build will include large-scale AI clusters featuring the latest AMD MI350X GPUs, Cisco UCS 885A servers, high-speed Nexus 9K 800 G networking, next-generation firewalls, optics and unified management tools.
  • This collaboration builds directly on earlier agreements under the US-UAE AI Acceleration Partnership, including the flagship 1 GW “Stargate UAE” cluster and the broader 5 GW UAE–US AI Campus announced earlier this year.
