During today’s plenary at the Arab Parliament in Cairo, Speaker Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Yamahi lauded the UAE’s humanitarian initiatives in Gaza, particularly its major desalinated water project supplying southern Gaza, aiding almost 600,000 people. He praised the UAE’s Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 and acknowledged Egypt, Qatar, and Türkiye’s roles in brokering the Sharm El Sheikh ceasefire agreement. Al Yamahi emphasized that full peace requires ending occupation and establishing an independent Palestinian state.
