Yango Group & China Mobile International sign MoU for enterprise tech collaboration

Dubai, UAE — 22 October 2025 — UAE-based technology ecosystem Yango Group and China Mobile International (CMI) have signed a memorandum of understanding to collaborate on enterprise technology solutions across the Middle East, Africa and Central Asia, the companies announced during GITEX GLOBAL 2025 in Dubai.

Under the MoU, Yango and CMI will explore joint development and commercialisation of cloud-native telecom services, secure connectivity packages, and integrated solutions that combine Yango’s software products and logistics/enterprise offerings with CMI’s global network, cloud and carrier services. The agreement is positioned as a strategic effort to accelerate cross-border digital services for enterprises — from smart logistics and fleet telematics to cloud-based enterprise communications and managed connectivity.

Company representatives said the partnership leverages complementary strengths: Yango’s regional product development and marketplace of digital services, and CMI’s scale in international telecom infrastructure and enterprise networking. Industry analysts say the alliance could shorten time-to-market for advanced solutions in regional industries such as logistics, retail and fintech, while improving access to secure, low-latency connectivity for business customers expanding between the UAE, Africa and Asia.

The timing of the MoU — announced at one of the world’s largest tech trade shows — highlights the UAE’s growing role as a commercial and technical bridge between Chinese tech suppliers and regional enterprise markets. Observers note the move follows broader activity by major international carriers and cloud providers seeking deeper partnerships with local ecosystems to support AI workloads, data sovereignty needs and connectivity for edge computing.

What this means for customers: enterprises could soon see bundled offers that combine international connectivity and peering, managed cloud and cybersecurity services, and verticalised applications (for example, delivery-fleet management or retail omnichannel platforms) that are pre-integrated and supported locally. For Yango, the MoU complements its recent push into B2B products and regional expansion; for CMI, it reinforces CMI’s internationalisation and ecosystem partnership strategy.

No financial terms or timetable for product roll-outs were disclosed. Company statements indicate that pilots and technical evaluations are expected to begin in the coming months, with commercial offerings to follow subject to regulatory approvals and market demand.
