UClean, the Indian laundry & dry-cleaning chain, has officially entered the UAE as part of its ambitious global expansion strategy. Over the next 18 months, the company is targeting more than 1,000 outlets worldwide.
With nearly 700 stores currently operating in India and serving over 2 million customers annually, UClean already has a footprint in several international markets including Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Ghana, Somalia, and Mauritius.
The UAE launch is marked by its first store in Abu Dhabi, located in the Corniche area, franchised by local entrepreneurs. This indicates UClean’s approach of combining brand strength with local partners to scale quickly and capture demand.
Founder & CEO Arunabh Sinha said that the entry into UAE is more than just geographical growth—it underscores UClean’s intention to establish its Indian-origin brand on the international stage, while leveraging its proven franchise model.
UClean’s model is franchise-driven, with a focus on micro-entrepreneurs. Stores tend to be compact, high-visibility units offering laundry, dry-cleaning, ironing, and related services. The brand also emphasizes sustainability, convenience (including pickup & delivery), and hygiene standards.
