Astra Tech, the UAE-based consumer technology company, has officially rebranded its PayBy platform to ‘botim money’, consolidating all its financial services under a single, consumer-friendly identity. This strategic move aims to simplify financial access across the region while enhancing user experience for everyday transactions.
Alongside the rebrand, Astra Tech launched ‘botim money for Business’, a B2B arm offering merchant solutions, payment infrastructure, and enterprise financial services. This initiative reflects the company’s commitment to supporting both consumers and businesses in the UAE.
Dr. Tariq Bin Hendi, board member at Astra Tech and CEO of botim, emphasized that the rebrand goes beyond a cosmetic change: “We first earned trust through communication. Now we are transforming that into financial value.”
Under its new identity, botim introduces innovative features such as ‘Send Now, Pay Later’ (SNPL) and investment tools, providing seamless, AI-driven financial services. The platform also focuses on user-centric design and personalization, aiming to simplify financial interactions and enhance engagement.
