Emirates to launch second daily Tokyo Narita flight from May 1

Emirates has announced it will launch a new daily service to Tokyo Narita starting May 1, expanding capacity on one of its key Asia routes and strengthening connectivity between Japan and its global network. The new flight, operating as EK320/321, will become the airline’s second daily service to Narita.

The additional frequency is expected to provide greater flexibility for both business and leisure travellers, while improving connections from Dubai to destinations across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Japan remains a strategic market for Emirates, with demand driven by tourism, corporate travel, and cargo movement.

The service will be operated by a retrofitted Boeing 777-300ER featuring upgraded interiors, refreshed cabin design, and enhanced onboard dining. The aircraft is part of Emirates’ ongoing fleet refurbishment programme, which focuses on modernising passenger experience across its wide-body operations.

Airlines globally have been increasing capacity on Japan routes amid a sustained rebound in international travel and growing demand for premium long-haul services. Emirates’ move to double daily flights to Narita reflects confidence in the market and a continued push to strengthen its presence in Northeast Asia.

The new flight is scheduled to begin operations on May 1, subject to operational approvals and slot availability.
