Dubai: HONOR has officially unveiled its latest flagship smartphone, the HONOR Magic8 Pro, marking a major leap forward in mobile imaging and next-generation connectivity in the UAE.
At the centre of the new device is HONOR’s breakthrough 200MP AI Ultra Night Telephoto Camera, designed to deliver exceptional clarity in low-light and long-distance photography. The company said the advanced imaging system combines powerful hardware with artificial intelligence to enhance detail, colour accuracy, and stability, even in challenging night-time conditions.
Industry observers at the launch event noted that the Magic8 Pro represents one of HONOR’s most ambitious camera upgrades to date, positioning the device as a strong contender in the premium smartphone segment. The enhanced telephoto capabilities are aimed at users who demand professional-level photography without relying on external equipment.
A key highlight of the announcement was confirmation that the HONOR Magic8 Pro is the UAE’s first 5.5G-ready smartphone, a milestone that underscores the country’s rapid digital transformation. The introduction of 5.5G support is expected to deliver faster speeds, lower latency, and improved network efficiency as telecom infrastructure across the UAE continues to evolve.
HONOR said the launch reflects its ongoing commitment to supporting the UAE’s vision for advanced connectivity and smart technologies, while offering consumers future-ready devices that can fully leverage next-generation networks.
In addition to performance and imaging upgrades, the Magic8 Pro features a refined premium design, a high-performance processor, and an enhanced battery management system aimed at supporting power users throughout the day.
Pre-orders for the HONOR Magic8 Pro will begin on December 1, with two configurations available in the UAE. The 12GB RAM with 512GB storage variant is priced at AED 3,999, while the 16GB RAM with 1TB storage model is priced at AED 4,699.
With its combination of advanced night photography, flagship performance, and early adoption of 5.5G technology, the HONOR Magic8 Pro is expected to attract strong interest from tech enthusiasts and professionals across the region.
