Slight Rise in Monthly Fuel Costs for Drivers

Compact cars: +Dh3.67 to Dh5.18
Sedans: +Dh4.34 to Dh4.96
SUVs: +Dh5.18 to Dh5.74
Fuel analysts note that although the increase is small, it continues the trend of steady monthly adjustments as the UAE maintains its pricing policy tied to international crude rates.
Global Oil Trends Influence Monthly Adjustments
The UAE’s fuel pricing mechanism- introduced to reflect global rates more transparently- reviews international oil price movements and adjusts domestic retail prices monthly. December’s increase follows mild upward pressure in global crude markets during November driven by supply constraints and geopolitical factors.
Motorists can expect further adjustments at the start of each month as the Ministry of Energy continues to monitor global trends.
