Doha, Qatar – FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem has praised the rapid rise of the Qatar Grand Prix, calling it a powerful symbol of the nation’s long-term ambition in global motorsport. Since joining the Formula 1 calendar in 2021, the race at the Lusail International Circuit has evolved into a flagship event, strengthened by major infrastructure upgrades and an expanding national strategy for motorsport development.
