Dubai, UAE — On the eve of the Dubai Airshow 2025, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, extended a warm welcome to the thousands of international delegates expected to attend this year’s leading aviation gathering.
In a post on his X account (formerly Twitter), Sheikh Mohammed described the Airshow as “one of the world’s largest aviation exhibitions,” noting its global scale and importance. According to him, the event will host delegations from 115 countries, including 490 civilian and military representatives, and is expected to attract around 150,000 visitors.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, stated that he takes pride in hosting the largest edition of the Dubai Airshow to date.
He made the comments while welcoming delegations to the event, highlighting the UAE’s evolution into a “major global hub and premier international platform in the world of aviation
He emphasized that this year’s exhibition will feature over 200 modern aircraft, spanning civil aviation, military fleets, private jets, and cutting-edge unmanned systems.
Beyond aviation, the event will also host a space technology exhibition and conference, reflecting the UAE’s growing ambitions in the space sector.
A Vision of Sustainability and Global Cooperation
According to Sheikh Mohammed, sustainability will be a core theme of the Airshow. He reiterated the UAE’s commitment to advancing green aerospace technologies and transforming its aviation ecosystem with long-term, low-carbon innovations.
He described the event as not only a commercial and military aviation platform but also as a global stage for defense, space, and sustainable innovation.
Reinforcing the UAE’s Strategic Role
Sheikh Mohammed framed the Airshow as a reflection of the UAE’s forward-looking vision, asserting that the country is deeply invested in fostering international collaboration, strategic partnerships, and shared progress in the aviation and aerospace industries.
He conveyed his pleasure regarding the event, mentioning that the welcoming of all international delegations demonstrates the UAE’s open attitude and sustained promise of global participation in sophisticated technologies

The five-day Dubai Airshow runs from 17–21 November 2025, under the theme “The Future Starts Here.”
It is set to foster major deals, technological announcements, and high-level dialogues across aviation, defense, and space sectors.
