The UAE’s Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) has introduced new salary requirements for residents who wish to sponsor family members or friends under visit visas. According to the latest update, residents must earn a minimum salary of Dh4,000 per month to sponsor first-degree relatives (parents, spouse, children), Dh8,000 per month for second- or third-degree relatives (siblings, grandparents, cousins), and Dh15,000 per month to sponsor friends or non-relatives. The move is part of the UAE’s ongoing efforts to streamline immigration regulations, promote financial accountability, and enhance visitor experience across all emirates.
These new guidelines apply to all residents applying through the ICP system.
