The UAE Golden Visa is now more secure for overseas holders. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs UAE has launched a 30-minute electronic return permit, issued free of charge when a Golden Visa holder abroad loses or damages their passport. The single-entry permit, valid for seven days, allows entry back into the UAE but cannot be used to travel onward to other countries. It also covers dependents (spouses and children) of recognised Golden Visa residents.
